Every year she’s here

Warm weather is arriving:
She’s swaying ever so slow
gently sweeping in
to caress our necks
dewdrops of sweat
will one day obey
as we resort to
coolness and wet splashes,
angling our faces toward
her companion, Wind
who carried her to us —
She never stays for long here.
Soon we’ll say:
Goodbye again, Summer
Oh how we’ll miss you.
And just as soon
Hello 💛
