Most recently

I have taken on

the form of

a mighty boulder

who once sat

in fortitude stillness

atop a sturdy ridge.

But, the just-enough

has bumped me.

I am beginning my

roll and tumble

to a place

I’ve never known —

gravity and momentum

my companions.

Don’t try to reroute me

or stop me

because

you’ll only

get

in

the

way.
