Stepping into
my crowded
wooded
headspace
I gently say
hello:
I walk through
the draping
weeping
willows
their leaves
tickle
my shoulders
and
for a moment
I forget
the dark.
I laugh.
My smile
beckons
a sliver
of sunlight
slipping
into the
mossy mind,
exposing
Green.
A sliver.
My smile
and warm color:
I open
my eyes
and
gladly
these
remain.
